InsectSelect™ Protein Expression System
InsectSelect is a non-lytic system that offers continuous expression and purification of high-value recombinant proteins. Using stable, plasmid-based vectors instead of baculovirus virions, InsectSelect simplifies protein expression by eliminating the need to generate and amplify viral stocks and reinfect host cells. The system generates continuous levels of accumulated protein, typically from 2 to 15 mg/liter. The example below shows two stable cell lines maintained high protein production (18 mg/liter) for 22 weeks in bioreactors.
