RCT Grants Blue Noise Mask License to Lexmark

Research Corporation Technologies Inc. announced today that Lexmark International Inc. has taken a license under RCT's halftoning patents including the Blue Noise Mask patents developed at New York's University of Rochester by Dr. Kevin Parker and Dr. Theophano Mitsa. No other terms of the license were disclosed. Among the licensed patents are U.S. Patents No. 5,726,772 (amendment), 5,708,518 (amendment), 5,543,941 (amendment), 5,477,305 (amendment), 5,341,228 (amendment) and 5,111,310 (amendment).
