Partha P. Ray

As a director on RCT's medical devices team, Ray's responsibilities include the assessment and acquisition of new opportunities, and the management of investments and projects for RCT.
Ray has more than 13 years of industry experience in the medical device and technology sectors. Prior to joining RCT, he completed the Biodesign Fellowship at Stanford University focused on medical device innovation. That was preceded by work at Medtronic as a Senior Manager for Strategy & Ventures and Senior Global Product Manager, driving product strategy, planning, development and commercialization efforts for several distinct product lines in the diabetes area. Ray also has worked in various engineering, consulting and strategy roles at leading technology companies. He remains affiliated with the Stanford School of Medicine, teaching medical-device and medical-simulation design as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Surgery.
